Poster Design: Chicago Institute of Art Cezanne Exhibition
Poster design is an integral element of advertising, particularly in relation to museum exhibits. In this case study, a set of four posters was created to feature an artist’s exhibition to be used as wild postings. The goal was to feature the artist’s work, museum logo, and exhibition date.
Inspired by Cezanne’s work and impressionistic style, a modern visual approach was taken by combining various elements of works and typography. Pieces of composition comprising of greens and oranges are utilized for contrast and cohesion. By mixing elements of Cezanne’s compositions, a playful and modern piece is created that embodies the artists forward-thinking art.
